September 8th & 9th | Genevieve MCC

For our next Brunch Club installment we are delighted to have Melissa Genevieve Nelsen winemaker of  Genevieve MCC, showcase some of her exceptionally made Méthode Cap Classique sparkling wines.

‘Private Kitchen,’ a concept first made popular in Hong Kong, is a venture where established chefs – seeking to provide guests with a more intimate experience – host by-appointment dinners in their own homes.

Chef Matt Manning has introduced Private Kitchen to Cape Town, with his monthly Brunch Club! Join him for an intimate, five course brunch prepared and served from his own home, located in the buzzing heart of Cape Town’s CBD.

Each brunch features a different wine farm and winemaker, who will join you at the table to share some of their favourite vintages!

Brunch Club is open to the public and only 12 spots are available per brunch.

Founder Melissa Genevieve Nelsen, pursued her passion in the wine making industry to develop the beautiful Blanc de Blanc MCC we all know today. Initially Melissa had her sights set on taking on the skies to become a pilot & later on decided to pursuit her passion in wine making this is when search for the perfect terroir and quality grapes led Melissa to Bot River, where she then  discovered a beautiful pocket of Chardonnay, located in the Van der Stel Pass.

Soon after the first vintage was released in 2010 & her passion became a reality.
