We are heading back to Arendsig wine farm to bring you another all-inclusive weekend getaway! The wildly popular ‘Rendezvous in Robertson’ will be held on August 24th – 26th. Enjoy two days of dining on delicious food, drinking exceptional wine, and relaxing in charming accommodation on the beautiful Arendsig farm.


Arendsig wines are a selection of single Vineyard Wines from unique soil, climate and location. Winemaker, Lourens Van Der Westhuizen, makes wine that is made with minimal interference throughout vinification. “His passion and dedication to his craft is second to none and he’s a bloody nice guy too” says chef Matt.


Guests can check in from 2pm at the cosy Arendsig cottages. We then welcome guests by the fire from 5pm where Lourens will share some of his favourite vintages as chef Matt gets to work on the braai. We are talking whole prime rib, smoked pork neck, braaied Yellowtail and fire pit veggies. We finish off with toasted marshmallows and braai broodjies before heading back to the cosy cottages for a well earned night’s rest!


Have a lie-in or enjoy a run on the vineyard before meeting at the cellar at 10:30am for a spot of brunch! To nurse those inevitable hangovers, guests are treated to a big brunch, featuring some of the biggest hits from Chef Matt’s famous Private Kitchen Brunch Club!

Brunch is followed by a personal cellar tour and tasting with Lourens where guests will get to see exactly what makes Arendsig wines so unique and so full of body (insider joke 😛).

Later that afternoon we meet at the old tasting room for a culinary treat for the palate. A five course dinner – designed to show off winter’s ingredients, paired with some new releases by Lourens.


Enjoy a light breakfast at 10am and perhaps even treat yourself to a couple of cases of wine before heading back home.
